At Mater Christi, we focus our work on our Trust values: Loving Together, Learning Together and Excellence Together.
Our school improvement work uses the expertise we have in our own schools as well as the project work we do with our external partners. Our Trust school improvement team work with school leaders to determine the best way to support their school priorities. Each school has a core offer which is differentiated after discussion with senior teams and governors. It is really important to us as a Trust that school development work is collaborative and transparent and it leads to sustainable improvement capacity in the long term.
As a group of schools in a Catholic Trust we can achieve more together than as single schools.
Building Our Community
Each of our schools is different, serving different communities. Our Trust recognises those differences. Although our schools align in many ways, beginning with our Faith, we appreciate that there are different paths towards high standards. As our schools do work together and plan together, similarities are emerging and our Trust approach to good teaching is embraced by all.
Focus On Our Student & Staff
As well defining our goals for our schools, we have an important focus on well-being and quality training for our staff and well being and quality pastoral care for our students. We are building inclusive, caring, vibrant communities where both staff and students can flourish.
Forming Strong Partnerships
Collaboration is at the heart of Mater Christi Trust’s approach. We actively seek to build strong partnerships with local communities, churches, and organisations to enrich our students’ experiences both inside and outside the classroom. These relationships provide opportunities for meaningful engagement in service and outreach, helping students develop a deeper sense of responsibility and social awareness. By fostering these connections, we empower our students to grow into compassionate, community-minded individuals who lead with faith and purpose.
